I was ecstatic! I finally realized that I COULD draw something that exactly resembles what I was looking at! I didn't need lessons..I could do this on my own. :)

My first pencil portrait.
Dates few years back.
I was sitting in the classroom, bored, after having completed the test quite early. I had this kid's photograph on the back-cover of a book lying on the desk. I started drawing just to kill time; the result-an absolute epiphany.
Up until that time, I had always been drawing, but had never taken it seriously and I never thought I could actually capture expression on paper. I admit, I surprised myself that day. I sat through the break, skipping my lunch to finish this one.

I haven't been doing anything truly creative for many months now, and it's not like I have a valid excuse for it. I have been going through a bit of an uninspired spell, to say the least.
Couple of days back, I was discussing with my folks about inspiration and how I have been afflicted with a lack thereof lately. I agreed to what they said- the cure resides in just getting back from work and routine and do all what I love to-drawing, singing, clicking away photos, designing..and everythin in this world I feel is creative enough to keep me alive..-,hmmm..I know I can never stop with one! *grin*
Perplexed and bewildered over lack of time for so many days now, I finally decided that I would start blogging my works, a mixture, ofcourse. :) The kickoff- I designed the background for the blog. *pats*
Erm..Yeah..So roni is finally figuring..(??)..-- doing annnnything creative, "even in a small way", is definitely and absolutely liberating!! **nods** :)
